Tangos South, Navotas

The Chummy Chum team visited the impoverished community of Tangos South, Navotas City, where most residents rely on fishing and small-scale vending to survive. Many families struggle to meet their daily needs, and Chummy Chum’s visit aimed to bring joy and hope to their children—reminding them that they are seen, loved, and cared for.

Upon arrival, the SK Chairman warmly welcomed the team and offered their office for use. After setting up, the Chummy Chum team shared the organization’s mission and years of service, and some inspirational messages of hope.

The moment Chummy appeared, excitement filled the venue. Children and parents alike were overjoyed. Chummy Chum entertained them with a lively dance, which the children eagerly joined, followed by a cheerful photo session.

The families expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gifts and the uplifting experience. Chummy Chum extends sincere thanks to all who helped make the outreach possible: Nanay Marcia; the SK Chairman of Tangos South and her team; Zamony Venture Corporation for the diapers; Bahay Aruga Parañaque for the SM Bears and face masks; Mr. Yacial and Ms. Rhox for the biscuits; and CLI for the undergarments provided.
