A Joyful Reunion: Chummy Chum Brings Laughter and Love to Children of the Daughters of Charity

Chummy Chum made a joyful return to the children under the care of the Daughters of Charity (DoC) along East Service Road, Parañaque City. This long-awaited reunion was a celebration of love, joy, and shared mission, rekindling a partnership that began in 2010 and paused only during the pandemic.

Excitement filled the air as children gathered early, eagerly awaiting the special day. The Chummy Chum team quickly set up booths with popcorn, cotton candy, freshly cooked spaghetti, toys, and special gifts. The venue came alive with colorful balloons, turning the space into a festive wonderland.

The program kicked off with a short introduction to the Chummy Chum Foundation—its mission, vision, and heartfelt commitment to bringing joy to underprivileged children. Then came the fun: classic parlor games like Bring Me, Trip to Jerusalem, Stop Dance, The Boat is Sinking, and Pass the Ball. The laughter was nonstop as every child joined in with enthusiasm.

The highlight came when Chummy Chum himself appeared. The children screamed with excitement, rushed to hug their favorite mascot, and took turns posing for photos—some in groups, others one by one, cherishing every moment.

Finally, the Chummy Chum team distributed their "love gifts"—toys, treats, and essentials prepared with care. The Sisters, parents, and children expressed heartfelt thanks for the joyful experience and the genuine love shown to the community.
