After a devastating fire took their homes and even their simplest belongings, children in a fire-affected barangay welcomed a surprise visit from Chummy Chum Foundation—a moment of comfort amid loss.
Despite the scorching heat, the team brought toys, gifts, souvenirs, and yummy treats, including freshly cooked popcorn and cotton candy. Chummy Chum danced, played, and helped serve the children, filling the brief gathering with laughter.
The visit could not restore what the fire had taken, but it gave the children a chance to smile, enjoy being children, and feel cared for as their families began again.
Heartfelt thanks to SM City Sucat for the lovable Besties of Joy plushies, Zamony Ventures for the brand-new baby diapers, and all donors of the Give Love from Pre-Loved Program for sharing comfort and hope.
