The Department of Dentistry together with the Heart Warrior Group requested Chummy Chum to join their mission entitled A Passion for Healing and Learning Dental Care for children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). The Chummy Chum team was very pleased to join. The team brought lots of surprises for the children. Chummy Chum (the mascot) appeared before the children and led the distribution of loot bags to each child. The team also cooked popcorn and cotton candy right in front of the children, and each one received their share.
The children were very happy. The event was brief but definitely a successful one.
