October 11, 2022: SPED – Bayanan Elementary School
Everyone needs love – especially our little angels who are intellectually challenged. Based on the study, these children describe love primarily as emotions and concrete acts but perceived love as knowledge and skills more difficult to describe. However, the meaning of love was considered crucial and important for everyone’s well-being. This is why the Chummy Chum team never forgets to bring love to children with special needs.
The team visited the SPED – Bayanan Elementary School in Molino, Bacoor Cavite, and met about 50 children under their care and instructions. The team gently interacted with the children, sending a special vibe for these little angels to feel they are loved and cared for. In their beautiful minds, they know that every moment was dedicated to them – seeing toys, gifts, balloons, yummy treats, and the heartily smile from everyone around them – they could really feel they are loved.
Chummy Chum (the mascot) joined the children, had brief interactions with them, and helped in the distribution of gifts and food. Each member of the team handed over the freebies they’d prepared for the children. The teachers were also happy handing over the cotton candy to each of their pupils.
The Chummy Chum songs surfaced into the air. The event was brief, but certainly a very special day for all the children and everyone who made it possible.
