Bringing Hope and Joy to Sick Children in Need

Pasig City Children's Hospital

In its continuing mission to reach children facing health challenges from underserved families, Chummy Chum visited Pasig City Children’s Hospital—a government-run facility devoted to caring for young patients without the means for private care.

It was a special day: the first-ever visit of Chummy Chum to the hospital and the first time many children saw their beloved mascot not just as a story, but in real life.

As the team arrived and set up a booth filled with treats and gifts, excitement filled the air. Doctors, nurses, careworkers, and even security guards gathered to join in the moment of joy.

The program opened with a brief introduction to the Chummy Chum Foundation—an organization born out of love for underprivileged children, especially those fighting serious illnesses.

While Chummy Chum couldn’t dance due to health protocols, his presence alone lit up the room. Children hugged him tightly, comforted simply by being seen, loved, and cared for.

The day turned the hospital’s usual routine into a small celebration. While the children’s smiles shone bright, many of them silently carry the burden of pain and poverty. This is why Chummy Chum exists—to bring moments of joy and hope to children who need it most.

The hospital staff, parents, and children expressed deep gratitude for the visit and the unique kind of love that only Chummy Chum brings—the Charity of Love.

Special thanks to our volunteers, SM City Sucat for the Bears of Joy, and Zamony Venture Corporation for the high-quality baby diapers.
