Kabayani Malanday Marikina
The Chummy Chum Foundation, in collaboration with long-time partner-donor WeCarePH, recently visited Malanday Marikina to support children from families affected by the recent typhoon.
Around 100 children gathered at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Brgy. Kabayani, where they were warmly assisted by volunteers. Excitement filled the air as the children eagerly watched the tables being set up with boxes of goodies, knowing these treats were meant for them.
During the setup, Chummy Chum (the mascot), joined the children and led a series of games, awarding prizes to the enthusiastic winners. It was just all fun. The joy and laughter of the children momentarily eased the impact of the recent typhoon.
Each child received food packs, toys, delicious treats, and special gifts from Chummy Chum, WeCarePH, and other partner-donor.
Special thanks goes to all the volunteers who helped ensure the event was orderly and safe for everyone involved.
