Fourth Estate, Paranaque City

Chummy Chum was born to bring happiness to children from indigent families—and every event is a chance to fulfill that mission. Recently, the foundation teamed up with Ms. Andrea to celebrate her niece Chin Chin’s birthday by throwing a heartfelt party for children in one of the city’s poorest areas.

Despite forecasts of bad weather, the Chummy Chum team prepared early, racing the rain. Thankfully, the skies cleared just in time, as if joining the wish to bring joy to these children.

The venue—normally a quiet, narrow space—was transformed into a magical scene with colorful balloons, food packs, treats, gifts, and cheerful booths featuring cotton candy and popcorn. Ms. Andrea also brought beautifully wrapped presents, sparking wide-eyed curiosity from the little ones.

A clown duo lit up the place with magic tricks and games, but the real excitement began when Chummy Chum arrived, dancing and inviting the children to join in. For many of them, this was the first time seeing Chummy Chum in person—after only hearing joyful stories from others. Their tight hugs spoke volumes, as if asking him to stay longer.

These children, who have never been guests at a real party, were made to feel truly special. For a day, they weren’t just recipients—they were celebrated.

Before wrapping up, the team shared Chummy Chum Foundation’s mission: to serve underprivileged and terminally ill children with free, joy-filled events that make lasting memories.

It was a meaningful day for the community and an unforgettable birthday for Chin Chin.

Special thanks to all the volunteers and to Zamony Ventures Corporation for providing premium baby diapers to families in need.
