Chummy Chum and WeCarePH Bring Joy to Children in Need

The Chummy Chum Foundation partnered with WeCarePH to bring joy and hope to children living in makeshift homes along a muddy road in one of the poorest communities.

Arriving early at the venue, the Chummy Chum team set up a colorful booth filled with treats, toys, special gifts, and souvenirs. Children began arriving in small groups, drawn by excitement that spread quickly through the neighborhood—faster than any official announcement.

The program began with a prayer led by the SK Chairman, followed by fun parlor games hosted by barangay officials. Every child who joined received a prize, ensuring no one left empty-handed. As the games went on - the children were delighted with the cotton candy and popcorn.

The Chummy Chum team shared a short message about their mission to uplift children in difficult circumstances. Then came the most awaited moment—Chummy Chum arrived, greeted by cheers and hugs from the children. He danced, played, and spread pure joy, creating a magical moment of connection and delight.

After the program, the children were served food and each received toys, gifts, and sweet treats to take home.

Though brief, the event left a lasting impression—reminding every child that they are not forgotten, that they are seen, loved, and cared for.
