Chummy Chum Brings Smiles to Children in Need

Following a request from the Our Lady of Sorrows Foundation, the Chummy Chum Foundation visited one of the most underserved communities, bringing joy to children who need it most.

Excitement filled the room the moment the Chummy Chum team arrived. As booths were set up—overflowing with treats, toys, and souvenirs—tiny voices squealed at the word “toys.” Colorful balloons popped up in every corner, and the sweet aroma of popcorn and cotton candy filled the air.

Volunteers kept the energy high with fun parlor games, where every child was a winner. Laughter echoed as prizes were handed out and bowls of hot, creamy champurrado were served, warming both hands and hearts.

In a short but heartfelt message, the Chummy Chum team shared the foundation’s mission to spread love and kindness to children. Applause followed—just in time for the big moment: the arrival of Chummy Chum himself!

The lovable baby dinosaur lit up the room with his dance moves, instantly connecting with the children. It was their first time meeting him, but the bond was instant. Even after the music stopped, the kids couldn’t get enough of their new friend.

To wrap up the day, each child enjoyed a hot meal and received toys, gifts, and meaningful keepsakes to take home—a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.
