Chummy Chum Brings Smiles to Flood-Affected Children with Check Group

Chummy Chum joined the Check Group’s 29th feeding program to bring joy to children affected by recent floods in Leo Street, Brgy. 569, Sampaloc, Manila.

As the team arrived, volunteers were busy setting up tents and arranging gifts for the children. Once preparations were complete, the program opened with a prayer, followed by fun games led by the Check Group.

Chummy Chum’s team took a moment to share their mission of spreading joy to children in need, echoing the Check Group’s dedication to service. When Chummy Chum finally appeared, the kids rushed forward with excitement—hugging, dancing, and even singing a birthday song for Rev. Paul, the chapel’s priest.

Light snacks were served, gifts were handed out, and smiles filled the space. The children and their families expressed heartfelt thanks to Chummy Chum, the Check Group, and all who contributed their time and love.

Because even after the storm, kindness brings the sunshine back.
