Ospital ng Sampaloc
Chummy Chum Foundation joined Ospital ng Sampaloc’s Dengue Awareness Seminar, specially held for kids at the OPD and Pediatric Wards on the 7th floor. Staying true to its belief that prevention is better than cure, the team came early to set up a cheerful booth filled with treats, toys, giveaways, and a popcorn machine ready to spread joy.
The event opened with a prayer and the national anthem, followed by a kid-friendly talk on Dengue and how to avoid it—made extra engaging with fun prizes for attentive listeners.
Chummy Chum’s team shared their mission, vision, and deep love for sick children. Then came the highlight—Chummy Chum himself danced into the room! The kids lit up with excitement, hugging the lovable mascot like they never wanted him to leave. In that moment, illness was forgotten, replaced by laughter and joy.
Each child received food packs and thoughtful presents. The hospital staff were all smiles, grateful for the magical visit that turned an ordinary day into something truly special.
Big thanks to Ms. Ghed and family for donating well-loved toys and books—they made the day even brighter for the children.
