Chummy Chum joined in the celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the Child with Disability from Brgy. 14, Caloocan City.
It was Sunday and supposed to be a rest day for most of us. But the Chummy Chum team woke up early and prepared for one of the most awaiting encounters with the most in-need children. They brought lots of surprise gifts making sure that everyone will get their share.
As the mobile van parked in front of the venue, the children got curious and excited as they were looking at the Chummy Chum team carrying boxes that they could almost feel were for them.
The team set up the table with lots of good things, gifts, and treats for the children. The other member set up the popcorn machine. The program was hosted by one of the partner donors. The Chummy Chum jingle medley started to fill the air, and Chummy Chum appeared before the children and had a brief interaction with them. The children were indeed so happy.
The popcorn was being served as the program went on. The children received food packs. At the final hour, the Chummy Chum team distributed the loot bags of goodies and treats as well as the personalized freebies such as sets of coloring books, mini stuff toys, and wrist bands.
