MARCELINO ST., MALATE, MANILA – Ms. Denisse was a volunteer of Chummy Chum. Today, she celebrates her birthday together with Chummy Chum and Halfway Home for children who have cancer. We met Bahay Aruga after cancelling an event due to a misunderstanding.
Upon Ms. Denisse and Chummy Chum team’s arrival, we waited for the kids. Ms. Denisse prepared gifts for 25 kids but only 10 appeared because others had their check up. The donor took the opportunity to talk to the kids to know them more. When the popcorn popped, Chummy Chum gave them a dance number and had a picture-taking with kids and the donor. Then, the gifts, toys, pillows, and the food the donor prepared were distributed to the children.
