CCF joins SM Foundation for a medical mission at Brgy. Viejo in Makati City.
When we got to the venue, there were large banners of politicians of both opposing political parties, so both SMF & CCF were having second thoughts of continuing the medical mission because it may just be used for politicking.
During these times, the urge to help the poor families especially children, always prevails so we continued with the mission.
The program started with a lecture regarding oral health care for the children. After the lecture, the children lined up for popcorn and CCF gave them freebies such as coloring books for older kids because they are the ones who knows how to color.
Based on what we saw, we think that it is better to give said things to poor children because they value whatever you give them.
