CCF Team headed to Barangay Batis in San Juan, Metro Manila to participate in the medical mission organized by SM Foundation.
Barangay Batis is a community composed of poor families that is why they are delighted whenever SMFI organizes a medical mission in their area.
When we arrived, there are already several kids who were done with their checkup and are about to go home. But when they saw the popcorns, they all hurriedly went back to the venue and patiently waited.
The medical mission was a success as they were able to hand out free reading glasses to the beneficiaries as well as free checkup such as CBC, X-Ray, ECG, etc.
