PASIG CITY – This Saturday morning, we joined a family from Laguna for the second time for the 11th birthday of Stella, daughter of the donor. We met their family through email.
In events like today, it is important to have everything fixed based on what and how to make the less-fortunate children smile. The first time we went to Bahay Aruga was already 5 years ago. Today, the Mayor had the place renovated and funded but they still need help with outreach events. Like us, they also rely on donations which lead Chummy Chum and the Medrano family to the place.
Due to lack of time, the labor was distributed to the volunteers from ordering of food to purchasing the goods. When this day arrived, the children were delighted to see what we had prepared for them. They were also very entertained by Rick, a ventriloquist puppet.
We intended not to disclose photos of the kids for their protection.
