Chummy Chum Joins Tau Gamma PH in Spreading Joy in Marikina

Chummy Chum brought smiles to children in one of the poorest communities in Marikina by joining the gift-giving event organized by Tau Gamma PH, led by Ms. Jinky.

When the Chummy Chum team arrived, the area was already set up with chairs and tables. They quickly prepared their booth filled with yummy treats, toys, special gifts, and souvenirs. Popcorn and cotton candy machines stood ready to delight the children, while colorful balloons added to the festive mood.

The program kicked off with a lively show hosted by a funny clown, complete with magic tricks and parlor games that had every child excitedly participating. Everyone won a prize, adding to the joy.

Partway through the event, the Chummy Chum team briefly shared their mission—to bring happiness to the most in-need children, expecting nothing in return.

Then came the highlight: Chummy Chum’s appearance and dance performance. It was the first time the children met the lovable mascot in person, and they immediately connected—laughing, dancing, and hugging him tightly, as if asking him to stay a little longer.

In that moment, the children felt seen, loved, and cared for. This is what the “Charity of Love” truly means—filling the emptiness in a child’s heart with priceless joy.
