CCF Team got ready at 5:00am for a long trip to Batangas City for another Medical-Dental Mission by SM Foundation. Despite the traffic, we enjoyed the long drive to Batangas mainly because of the scenery especially the majestic taal volcano when we passed by Tagaytay.
We got to the town proper of Tuy, Batangas just in time. We headed to the covered court, near the Main Health Center of Brgy. Poblacion, in Tuy, where the Medical-Dental Mission is being held.
This is CCF’s first time to be in Brgy Poblacion so the kids were pleasantly surprised and excited when they saw our colorful van.
The children watched us as we were unloading our items from the truck and they were asking us many questions. After which, Sir Dalfen asked the kids to form a line so they can receive popcorns and Chummy Chum freebies.
Some parents were questioning us why not all kids were given toys, we explained that everyone will get a treat (popcorns) but we prefer to give the toys to selected poor children who don’t get to experience having such.
