Children affected by Flood
Brgy. 686, Malate Manila
Early one morning in Malate, Manila, the Chummy Chum van made a surprise stop—bringing not just curiosity but unexpected joy to street children nearby. Unaware of what was coming, the kids gathered, hoping for a little help. What they got was something much more.
The Chummy Chum team, with help from local volunteers—many of them parents—quickly set up a cheerful booth packed with tasty treats, fun toys, special gifts, and a warm bowl of ginataang mais to ease hungry tummies.
The highlight? A visit from Chummy Chum himself, the lovable baby dinosaur mascot. Though space was tight, his presence lit up the street. Kids ran to greet him, eager to touch, talk, and share a few joyful moments.
Each child received a Chummy Chum wristband to redeem their goodies, while parents with infants were given packs of baby diapers. It was a short but meaningful event—proof that it doesn’t take much to make children feel seen, loved, and remembered.
Special thanks to Kokola Philippines for the yummy cookies and wafers, and Zamony Ventures for the baby diapers. Sharing joy really is that simple.
