A group from Pasig City, requested to have a program with Chummy Chum to help entertain kids who live around the public market, whom they consider really poor. This group has been teaching these kids values formation, and they thought that it’s time for them to have a little fun and temporarily forget the hardships of life.
The team met with the “Batang Palengke” group immediately, which was at a public school ground. After a while, the principal of the school approached and asked if they can share the event with 150 beneficiaries from a BPO company. Unfortunately, we were only able to bring very limited gifts for the kids. There were fun games and entertainment with Chummy Chum, and even the kids who were joining the event nearby, wanted to have their pictures taken with Chummy Chum.
