No. 115: Julian Emmanuel L. Borromeo, 8, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
Julian was diagnosed with blood cancer. He gets his medical treatment with the help of other charity groups and foundations. The father was a jeepney driver and has been on and off the road at the onset of the pandemic. When there’s no driving job, both the parents are selling fruits and vegetables in the flea market. The concern of the mother is the health of Jullian who has been fighting for his life for 8 years now. The mother’s request is for the nourishment of her sick child to at least give him a fighting chance against the debilitating blood disease.
With the combined generosity of the founder and a volunteer donor, Julian received cash assistance for his medical management, formula milk for his nourishment, and grocery items to share with his family. The help might not be enough to support Julian’s medical needs entirely, but it surely helps to give Julian a good fighting chance against his illness.
