The Chummy Chum team set out early to visit fire-affected families in a Quezon City community, only to learn upon arrival that many had already relocated to Brgy. Balon Bato. Without hesitation, the team continued their journey and found families living in makeshift shelters, facing the difficult realities of rebuilding their lives after the devastating fire.

Working closely with local leaders, the team set up at the community open court where registration began. As families arrived, the event team welcomed the children with inspiring stories, messages of hope, and a reminder that they had not been forgotten.

While many expected only relief assistance, Chummy Chum had a special surprise. The children burst into smiles when the beloved mascot appeared, dancing, playing, and posing for photos. For a brief moment, laughter replaced worry, and joyful memories were created amid challenging circumstances.

The event concluded with the distribution of relief goods and meals. The gratitude expressed by the families was heartfelt, proving that even simple acts of kindness can bring comfort, hope, and encouragement during difficult times.
