Life moves forward, and keeping our hearts busy with kindness makes the journey brighter. Today, Chummy joined Ms. Andrea and her family in sharing joy with children from underserved communities—kids who rarely get to experience parties and celebrations.
A longtime supporter of Chummy Chum, Ms. Andrea has spent almost 15 years celebrating her birthday by reaching out to children in need. Even from abroad, distance never stops her from giving. With her mom representing her, she once again asked Chummy Chum to visit the Daughters of Charity in Parañaque City and bring happiness to the kids.
The day kicked off with a prayer, followed by lively games led by playful clowns. Thanks to the many prizes prepared by Chummy Chum, no child went home empty-handed. But the loudest cheers came when Chummy Chum arrived—dancing, hugging, and posing for photos with everyone. The children then joyfully sang “Happy Birthday” for Ms. Andrea, joined by her mother and of course, Chummy Chum himself.
The Daughters of Charity expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the continued love shown to the children in their care. Helping doesn’t have to be near, and kindness doesn’t follow clocks or maps—Ms. Andrea proves that every year.
