Kuya Emar’s Birthday: A Celebration of Life and Love

Instead of throwing a grand party, Kuya Emar chose to celebrate his birthday in the most meaningful way—by giving joy to children battling cancer at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC).

A year ago, his own child was treated at the same hospital. Grateful for the blessing of healing, Kuya Emar returned with a full heart, ready to give back.

With the help of the Chummy Chum Foundation, the OPD for cancer patients turned into a joyful, colorful space filled with treats, toys, gift bags, and food packs. Kuya Emar, along with his family and friends, was hands-on in preparing for the day—wanting every child to feel special.

The program began with messages of hope, followed by fun parlor games suited for the children’s conditions. Then came the most awaited moment: Chummy Chum arrived, danced, played, and spread cheer. His presence brought pure joy—like a burst of sunshine in a difficult journey.

As the event ended, the children sang “Happy Birthday” to Kuya Emar. A simple song, yet deeply moving—sung by brave little voices filled with love and gratitude.
