Following last week’s fire in Tejeros, Makati, Chummy Chum visited Barangay Carmona’s temporary evacuation center to bring joy and hope to children and their families.
The outreach was a collaborative effort with WeCarePh and the Agos Makati Coalition. Early in the day, the teams set up their stations, and soon the children were laughing and playing games—even in the limited space, their excitement was boundless.
The highlight of the day was the arrival of Chummy Chum himself! Dancing, hugging, and posing for photos, he filled the room with energy and smiles. Afterward, the children enjoyed a warm meal and received gifts.
All groups expressed heartfelt gratitude for the love, time, and happiness Chummy shared. Special thanks to SM City Sucat for the “Besties of Joy” bunny bears, Zamony Venture Corporation for diapers, Ms. Liza Chesca for pre-loved toys and storybooks, and ELI for new undergarments.
