LPEA and Chummy Chum Bring Joy to Children Under Missionaries of Charity

The Chummy Chum Foundation partnered with the Landbank of the Philippines Employees Association (LPEA) to bring joy and hope to children under the care of the Missionaries of Charity in Manila. This was Chummy Chum’s second outreach of the day and marked LPEA’s first collaboration with the foundation.

Initially focused on making a financial donation, the LPEA team quickly discovered the deeper meaning of hands-on giving. They arrived early to help with the setup and were soon immersed in the spirit of the event—fun, connection, and shared purpose.

The program opened with a prayer and a short message from LPEA, followed by lively parlor games led by a clown duo that had the children laughing and fully engaged. LPEA then turned over a generous check to the Missionaries of Charity to support the children’s ongoing needs.

The excitement continued with a magic show, and soon after, Chummy Chum made a joyful entrance. The children ran to greet him, dancing and playing together in a moment of pure happiness and connection. For many, it was a rare and cherished experience.

Hot meals were served to all, and each child received a toy, gift, and souvenir to take home.

Though brief, the event left a lasting impact—not just for the children, but for everyone involved. It was a reminder that every child deserves to be seen, loved, and celebrated—regardless of their circumstances.
