In celebration of Children’s Month, Chummy Chum brought smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments to the special children of San Roque Elementary School in J. Abad Santos, Marikina City.

From the moment we arrived, the excitement in the air was undeniable. The children eagerly gathered around, their eyes lighting up as they saw the colorful Chummy Chum service van. Their curiosity turned into pure delight when they caught sight of the popcorn and cotton candy machines. The joy on their faces was a testament to how small, thoughtful gestures can mean so much.

This memorable day was made even more special through the collaboration with Wecareph and the talented Mr. Onard, whose mesmerizing bird tricks show captivated everyone. Laughter filled the room as the children clapped and cheered, fully immersed in the performance. The highlight of the event, however, was the magical moment when they met Chummy Chum for the very first time. With wide smiles, they danced hand-in-hand with our lovable mascot, creating a bond of pure happiness and connection.

At Chummy Chum, we believe that every child—especially those with special needs—deserves to feel loved, understood, and celebrated. Our mission is to reach into their hearts, spark joy, and remind them that they are truly extraordinary.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to CLI for providing new undergarments and shirts for the parents, and to all the volunteers who helped make this day possible. Your kindness and generosity continue to inspire us in our journey to make a difference.

As we left, the children’s smiles and laughter lingered in the air, a beautiful reminder of the power of love and compassion. It is through moments like these that we see how small acts of kindness can make a big impact—bringing happiness not only to the children but to everyone who shares in their joy.
