The Chummy Chum Foundation continues its mission of nurturing not only the emotional health but also the mindset of children—teaching them the importance of proper care and protection against infections and life-threatening diseases.
On this special day, the Chummy Chum team visited a public hospital in Manila that serves some of the city's most vulnerable families. These children, despite their fragile conditions, deserve the same level of care and compassion as those from more privileged backgrounds—and that’s exactly what the team brought with them.
In support of the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control Committee (IPCC), the Chummy Chum team participated in an awareness campaign to help prevent the spread of infection. With their lively presence and child-friendly approach, the team captured the children’s attention, making it easier for them to understand the importance of staying clean and protected.
The usually quiet and somber part of the hospital transformed into a space full of color and joy. The Chummy Chum booth was filled with sweet treats, toys, special gifts, souvenirs, and balloons—creating a magical atmosphere. Everything was free for the children, and their excitement was contagious.
A brief talk introduced the foundation’s mission, vision, and goals, along with a cheerful welcome for Chummy Chum—a new friend who quickly won every child’s heart. Although many of the children were too weak to move around, their smiles and laughter filled the air, replacing the usual silence with happiness and hope.
This outreach was part of Charity of Love, an ongoing effort to improve the quality of life for sick children from impoverished families—not only by supporting their medical needs but also by addressing their emotional and social well-being through moments of joy.
Special thanks to Zamony Ventures Corporation for generously donating premium-quality diapers for the children.
