National Children's Hospital.
The Filipino Fans’ Club of Odina Aliyeva – a famous volleyball player from Azerbaijan country, joined in a charity mission with Chummy Chum. Together they visited and brought joy to the children confined at the Hema Ward of the National Children’s Hospital (NCH).
It was noticed that NCH is the most frequently visited hospital by Chummy Chum since it is the only government hospital for children at this time of health crisis that opens its doors to guests for their patients.
All pediatric patients received food packs, loot bags, and special gifts from Chummy Chum and Odina Fans’ Club. Chummy Chum (the mascot) himself visited each room and said hello to the children. The treats were also shared with the doctors and nurses in charge of the Hema Ward.
The feeling of joy is the most effective tool to ease any kind of pain and suffering – and this is what Chummy Chum does – bring joy to indigent and terminally ill children.
