Chummy Chum visited the street children from the area of Divisoria, Manila on March 24, 2023. With the help of some volunteers from the city LGU headed by Mam Dhet, the team met the children, and a charity mission was carried out accordingly. The team set up a table full of toys and yummy treats prepared specially for them. They gathered the children at the basement level of the Divisoria Mall, located in Sto. Cristo, Tondo, Manila.
Chummy Chum himself helped in the distribution of simple gifts to each child. The children enjoyed the freshly cooked popcorn, and each of them received Chummy Chum coloring books, mini stuff toys, wristbands as well as loot bags. Toys care of the SM Store was also given. Everyone was very happy and excited. Chummy Chum stayed for a while and had a brief engagement with the children.
Not every day the street children received such kind of attention. The moment was brief but certainly marked a good memory worth remembering as they go forward with their journey.
