Twelve Years of Sharing Birthday Blessings

For 12 consecutive years, Kuya Rex has celebrated his September birthday by sharing his blessings with children from underserved communities.
This year, the Chummy Chum team brought his celebration to Sitio Maliwanag near Libingan ng mga Bayani in Western Bicutan, Taguig City—a flood-prone community where many homes are built from scrap materials.
The community had earlier requested a visit, while Kuya Rex was searching for children with whom he could celebrate. It was truly a perfect match made in heaven.
Following a prayer, the children enjoyed games, a magic and puppet show, popcorn, cotton candy, food, and gifts. Kuya Rex was joined by Mr. and Ms. Supranational and other guests, who happily participated in the activities.
The loudest cheers came when Chummy Chum appeared. The community came alive with dancing, laughter, and joyful photographs.
Happiest birthday, Kuya Rex! May God bless him even more for continually sharing his special day with children most in need.
