  • Caring for the children from along the train railways.

20 October 2023 Children from along Train Railways Muntinlupa City The Chummy Chum Foundation Philippines Inc. went back to meet the children from along the train railways of Muntinlupa City, for another round of Feeding Program. The last couple of programs were in August. They indeed belonged to the poorest of the poor whose only hope every time they woke up in the morning was food. Hunger is what they conquer every day. They also have this simple wish of having a simple playable toy and snacks for school. This is why the Chummy Chum team always prepares something for them, at least once or twice a month, something that the children can look forward to. This time, the team prepared for 100 children. A set of sandwiches and juice for snacks for every child, yummy assorted imported chocolates, toys, and pre-loved items that were shared by different individuals. It is worth mentioning how we were surprised by one of the volunteer donors from abroad. She told us to pick up pre-loved items for the children, and to our surprise, it was a big bag full packed of chocolates. Everything was successfully shared with the children, and the rest was just heart-warming joyful memories. Big thanks to Ms. Jeanette for her generosity. Special thanks to WeCarePH and the SM Store.
