Chummy Chum received a warm welcome during its first visit to the pediatric ward of Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.
The hospital’s Social Service team assisted the group and introduced them to the bright, child-friendly ward, which mainly serves indigent young patients. While fresh popcorn was prepared, the team quietly visited each room to avoid disturbing children who were resting or receiving treatment.
Chummy Chum shared smiles, photos, food, gifts, toys, and warm blankets with every young patient. Families and hospital staff expressed their heartfelt appreciation and hoped the team would return soon.
