Brgy. 160 Libis, Baesa, Caloocan City
After being devastated by Typhoon Crising and a massive fire that followed, a small, impoverished community lost nearly everything—homes, belongings, and a sense of safety. While the government and local officials provided much-needed food and basic relief, one question remained: who would care for the hearts of the children?
That’s where the Chummy Chum Foundation stepped in—not with basic necessities, but with joy.
As local relief operations concluded, the Chummy Chum team quietly set up a booth filled with colorful balloons, sweet treats, toys, books, and surprise gifts. Cotton candy and popcorn machines buzzed to life, signaling something magical. When the children were invited, their tired eyes lit up, smiles replacing fear. For a moment, the harshness of their reality faded—they were simply children again, laughing, playing, and feeling seen.
Games, hugs, warm meals, and a visit from Chummy Chum himself brought immeasurable joy. Each child left not just with gifts, but with something deeper: hope.
Thanks to kind-hearted donors—like Ms. KC, E-Mind Learning, and Zamony Ventures Corporation—every little contribution became part of something greater.
This is the essence of the “Charity of Love”—simple, sincere acts of kindness that reach beyond relief, into healing. Because sometimes, the smallest gesture can restore the biggest things: joy, dignity, and love.
