Chummy Chum visited a flood-affected informal community where nearly 100 families live in tightly built makeshift homes. Many depend on scavenging for a living and face uncertainty and health risks, including leptospirosis, whenever floodwaters rise.
After coordinating with the community leader, the team gathered the children for games and storytelling. Their excitement grew as they received gifts, but the happiest moment came when Chummy Chum appeared. The community soon filled with laughter, dancing, hugs, and joyful photos.
Heartfelt thanks go to SM City Sucat, Zamony Venture Corporation, GTVL for the blankets, and everyone who donated pre-loved toys and clothing. Their kindness brought comfort and happiness to children who needed them most.
