Bringing Smiles After the Fire

After a massive fire displaced hundreds of families in one of the city’s poorest communities, the Chummy Chum team quickly responded—not with grand plans, but with one simple goal: to lift the spirits of the children.

With no time to spare, the team organized a surprise visit to the evacuation site. It was quiet when they arrived, but as they set up colorful booths with treats, toys, and games, curious little faces began to peek out of the tents. Soon, the space was filled with laughter, dancing, and pure joy—especially when Chummy Chum arrived and danced with the kids!

Hot meals, toys, and gifts were shared, but more than anything, Chummy Chum brought comfort, fun, and a moment of happiness to children facing a difficult time. Because what we offer isn't just material—it's the kind of joy that heals.
