Celebrating another year with gratitude and appreciation of life's blessings.

Around Landfill, Imus Cavite

On this day, Rowena has chosen to spend her special day with the underserved children living in the cemetery and around the landfill. Absolutely, celebrating another year by giving back to those in need, especially children, is a beautiful way to express gratitude and appreciation for life's blessings.

It was touching to see the children's excitement and joy upon the team's arrival. For children who rarely receive visitors or special treats, this experience must have been particularly meaningful. Knowing that everything was set up just for them would have made them feel valued and cherished in a way they may not often experience. It was so nice to see the smiles on their faces as they saw the table filled with goodies, knowing that they were the ones being celebrated and cared for. The children got more excited to meet their special guest – Chummy Chum (the mascot), it was such a delightful surprise for the children. Meeting Chummy Chum up close and personal for the first time would have been a magical experience for them. Chummy Chum's visit undoubtedly added an extra layer of joy and excitement to an already memorable day for the children. Moments like these create lasting memories and leave a lasting impact on children, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deserving of love and attention.

The team and Chummy Chum were just as excited as the children during the distribution of food, toys, gifts, and treats. Amazingly, the foundation has established a supportive community of individuals and institutions, who share its passion for helping others. Through a collective effort, they're able to make an even bigger impact and provide a generous treat for the children.

Special thanks to Ms. Elaine, Mrs. Sison, Ms. Luisa, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Airene, Sir Ruel, Dra. Yapchulay, Divisoria Community Pantry, WeCarePH, and Haeiness PH.
