Chummy Chum and NickhunPH Bring Joy to Pediatric Cancer Patients

Chummy Chum recently received a heartfelt request from the Nickhun Philippines fan group. In celebration of their anniversary, the group wished to sing and spend time with sick children to bring them joy.

The Chummy Chum team immediately thought of the children at Childhaus—pediatric cancer patients from underprivileged families from far provinces undergoing treatment in Manila. Childhaus provides free board and lodging for these children, whose families cannot afford temporary accommodations.

To make the day special, Chummy Chum brought treats, toys, gifts, and souvenirs, while Nickhun PH prepared lunch packs and more presents. Cotton candy and popcorn machines added sweet delights, and colorful balloons created a festive, magical atmosphere.The event took place on a Sunday morning, beginning with a mass. A clown host entertained with magic tricks and games, followed by a touching singing session with the fan group. The heartfelt voices of the children brought emotion to the room. While enjoying the fun, lunch was served by the fan group.

The highlight was Chummy Chum’s dance performance. Some children already knew him as the joyful baby dinosaur who brings happiness to terminally ill kids; for others, it was a first-time meeting. But for everyone, the moment with Chummy Chum felt like a break from sickness—a glimpse of pure happiness. This is the essence of the “Charity of Love”: bringing joy where it’s needed most.

Each child received a set of gifts from both Nickhun PH and Chummy Chum.
