Chummy Chum Brings Smiles to Young Patients in Pasig

Chummy Chum Foundation recently paid a heartwarming visit to a public hospital in Pasig, spreading joy to children battling serious illnesses. It marked the foundation’s sixth visit since the pandemic lockdown, and with many new faces among the staff and patients, the day felt extra special.

Before arriving, the team shared their mission—to bring happiness to unwell children—and introduced the Infant Incubator Loan Program (IILP), which allows hospitals to borrow incubators for free, one infant at a time.

Welcomed by Ms. Clara from the hospital's Malasakit Center, the Chummy Chum team set up a colorful booth in the pediatric ward. Curious eyes peeked out as the once-quiet hall buzzed with excitement. Balloons, sweet treats, toys, and cheerful chatter transformed the space into a mini celebration.

The highlight? Chummy Chum himself visiting each child, bed by bed, spreading smiles and sharing quick hugs and waves—even to those in the ICU, where children smiled through their pain just to wave back.

Though the visit was short, the joy it brought was unforgettable. For a moment, the children felt like kids again—not patients.

Doctors, nurses, and families expressed heartfelt thanks, saying such joyful visits usually come only during the holidays.

Special thanks to Zamony Ventures Inc. (diapers), E-Mind Learning (storybooks), and WeCarePH (bottled water) for their generous support.
