Ms. Nerlyne’s wished to celebrate her birthday with the underprivileged children – Chummy Chum made it happen. Through a collaboration, Ms. Nerlyne and Chummy Chum came up with three (3) groups of children to celebrate with.
First stop, the children with special needs from Alfonso Central Elementary School. The event was hosted by a funny clown with magic tricks and parlor games with prizes. Chummy Chum (the mascot) surprised the children with a dance number. Ms. Nerlyne prepared delicious food packs for everyone in the room. Each child received gifts, loot bags with yummy treats, and sets of Chummy Chum give away.
Ms. Nerlyne was very happy too, listening to the children’s innocent voices singing happy birthday for her. The event was brief but certainly a memorable one.
