Chummy Chum was glad to join the Check Group and partner Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish in Barangay Caniogan, Pasig City, for a joyful outreach benefiting children from underserved communities around the church.
With possible flooding and heavy rain, the team checked the roads ahead of time and prepared alternate plans to ensure the event would continue safely.
Volunteers arrived early to set up, while the clowns held six rounds of games so every child could participate. Magic tricks, an inspiring Bible message, dancing, and photo moments with Chummy Chum made the day even more special. The children also learned about Chummy Chum’s mission and its work with different communities and partners.
Heartfelt appreciation goes to the Check Group, Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish, the volunteers, parents, and children who made the gathering meaningful. Special thanks also go to SM City Sucat, Zamony Venture Corporation, and everyone who donated pre-loved toys.
