CCF went to West Rembo in Makati City to grace the gift giving activity of Harte Hanks Staff to children of the said community, thru the efforts of Rotary Club of Kabataang West Rembo.
We received a request from Ms. Lorela of Harte Hanks and asked as to help them identify a beneficiary and we led her group to Rotary Club of Kabataang West Rembo. The donors came in early because they came straight from work and had not any sleep.
But still, we arrived earlier than them so we could set up. While waiting for the children to arrive, Ms. Lorela’s group took a nap first, after arranging the gifts.
Soon the children arrived and the party started. The clowns led the parlor games to the delight of the poor community kids. We prepared lots of gifts and prizes for the children, as well as the donors. Chummy Chum came out to dance for them and had their picture taken.
These poor kids are Sunday schoolers from a Christian Church.
