Helping to save Kyle from his unknown medical condition.

No. 112: Kyle Anthony M. Estayo, 2, Yolk Sac Tumor Stage 4, PCMC

Baby boy Kyle was diagnosed with Yolk Sac Tumor Stage 4 when he was just 1 year old. A simple polyp in the groin the parents would only think about it, but when the polyp continues to grow, the parents were alarmed and brought Kyle to the Philippine Children Medical Center (PCMC). Kyle underwent an urgent surgical operation to remove that mass. The surgery did not go easy, as the doctor discovered that cancer has already spread to the lungs and liver of the boy. After the operations, Kyle underwent series of chemotherapy to kill cancer and stop it from spreading. After the 5th cycle, the condition did not change, that’s when the doctors decided to bring Kyle to 2nd surgery. Awfully, the operations did not go well, the mass could not be removed as it was too attached to the organ. The doctors have been planning for another protocol for Kyle to remove the mass and try saving the boy. Parents were troubled since they do not have the capacity to provide for the medical needs of their ailing child. They want to see Kyle grow up and long live a normal life. The mother is seeking any help that can be extended for Kyle.

With the combined generosity of the founder and a volunteer donor, Kyle received cash assistance for his medical management, formula milk for his nourishment, and grocery items to share with his family. Kyle will be prepared for his next medical treatment.
